Dumpster vs Junk Pick-Up

Should I rent a dumpster or should I call someone to load and haul my trash?

Here’s the straight talk on the subject.

If you have extra money to spend, don’t mind having a complete stranger in your home, and have all your trash in one location ready to go…call a junk pick-up service.

If you want to save money (typically 50% savings), want to take your time sorting out what to keep and what to throw away and don’t want to wait around all day for a trash hauler to show up…you need a roll-off dumpster.

Typical Pricing for 15 cubic yards hauled off from a leading trash hauler $575-600.

Typical Pricing on a 20 cubic yard dumpster: $300-375.

Simple math shows you will save hundreds of dollars and be able to get rid of 5 more cubic yards of trash.

Alpha Team KC has reinvented the dumpster rental. Here is a breakdown of the service we provide.

1. You only pay one fee. The rental fee. There are no hidden fees or extra charges.

2. Our dumpsters are clean. We wash them out every week.

3. Our dumpsters won’t leave a mark on your driveway.

4. You do not have to be present for drop off or pickup.

5. You can put the same things in our dumpsters as the trash haulers put in theirs. It is illegal for any waste removal company to haul away hazardous waste. If anyone tells you otherwise they are not following the laws. Other then hazardous waste, we have no exclusions.

6. We are licensed and insured. If the company you are dealing with is not, it may cost you a lot more in the long run. Example: they haul away something hazardous from your home unknowingly and they have a car accident. The material spills into a river. If they are not covered for this type of accident, some of the liability may come back to you. Alpha Team KC is covered. Please don’t take this risk.

7. With a dumpster you can share the cost with your neighbors and friends. Just tell all your neighbors to bring their extra trash over…you may even cover the cost of the dumpster if you ask them to chip in.
